John Wade was born 30 April 1724 in Pembroke, Wales. He died 31 December 1815 in Highland Co, VA.

He married Sophia Howard. She was born 23 May 1727 in Maryland and died 25 November 1816 in Highland Co, VA.

Their children were:

Reverend Otho Wade (born 26 May 1766 in Highland Co, VA)
